Freedom, Independence, Peer Pressure While entering the high school, you'll be faced with many new things. You'll become more independent, you'll receive a lot more freedom, and you'll be faced with tons of peer pressure. How you deal with everything is ultimately your decision. You'll be put under a lot of pressure to do bad things but the pressure you receive to do good things and get good grades will balance out the bad. With freedom and independence comes more responsibility that you need to be ready to handle those responsibilities.
The freedom that you receive can be great if you're a good kid but if you do stupid things and get caught your freedom will be restricted. The assistant principles are quick to hand out penalty halls or give you an iss (in-school suspension). here is a link to a list of the responsibilities of a kicking mule
http://www.bedford.k12.mi.us/~shs/school-info.html. A stupid thing that you can get caught for is giving in to the bad peer pressure. I was offered drugs in the first week of school but I didn't take them because the sports that I play are more important. There will be drugs and alcohol and a lot of peer pressure to do them but you don't have to give in.
